上周五，我校红叶传媒的成员及指导老师在一楼会议室采访了英国国王爱德华六世高级中学的校长助理——Victoria Lee女士。首先，我们进行了相互的自我介绍。一开始，同学们还有些紧张，但Victoria Lee的风趣幽默让会议室的气氛缓和了下来，同学们都放下了紧张的心情。学生代表顾诗弈介绍了红叶传媒社团近两年的活动，其中还有我们高一同学的摄影作品以及与世博相关的视频片断，Victoria Lee女士对我们拍摄的照片表示赞赏，对同学们制作视频的能力感到惊讶。随后，为了更好的了解英国国王爱德华六世高级中学，我们进行了交流。她很耐心地回答了我们的问题。从中我们得知，Victoria Lee女士兴趣广泛，热爱拳击、羽毛球等体育运动，对中国食品也非常感兴趣。在谈话中，她充满幽默的语言和丰富的肢体动作，不时让我们开怀大笑。最后，高一（４）班的张磊同学把现场画的速写送给了Victoria Lee女士，她表示非常高兴得到这份礼物，大家还一起合影留念。
这是红叶传媒社团一次很有意义的对外交流活动，培养了我们与人沟通的能力，树立了我们要进一步学好英语的意识，同时增进了中英两国人民之间的友谊。
Last Friday, in the conference room on the first floor, the members of the Maple Leaf Media Group and our instructors interviewed Victoria Lee, the assistant to the president of the King Edward VI High School. To begin with, we had self-introduction. At first, we felt a little bit nervous. However, Victoria Lee’s sense of humor made us relaxed. Gu Shiyi introduced the major events of the Group in the past two years, including the photos taken by the students in our group and one video clip related with Expo. Victoria Lee showed great interest in our works and was amazed at our abilities. In order to better understand the King Edward VI High School, we had further communication. Victoria Lee answered our questions with patience. She has a wide range of interests, including boxing, badminton and so on. She is also interested in Chinese food. During the conversation, her humorous words and rich body language made us burst into laughter. In the end, Zhanglei from Class Four, Senior One gave Victoria Lee the sketch. Victoria Lee was very happy to receive this gift. We also took a photograph.
This was a very meaningful external exchange. It cultivated our ability to communicate with others，established our sense of learning English and enhanced the friendship between the people in U.K. and China.
